As part of the management and enhancement of its asset portfolio of shops and offices, Columbia Threadneedle has frequently instructed P&DG to support a range of planning applications necessary to attract and facilitate new tenants, and to support the refurbishment of existing buildings. Where appropriate we have advised the client on the potential and principle of a scheme and successfully prepared a range of applications from advertisement to listed building consent.
They have found that P&DG’s diverse range of skills and expertise in planning, heritage, retail planning, and commercial development, coupled with an agile and creative approach to planning challenges, has enabled them to respond quickly to changing client and market demands.
Over the years, we have encountered and successfully dealt with issues ranging from Scheduled Ancient Monuments to retail sequential assessments, listed buildings, access requirements, and obscure planning case law.
