At P&DG, we ensure that colleagues continuing professional development (CPD) is current and that all members of the team are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.

We take a flexible and encouraging approach to CPD, ensuring individuals undertake training relevant to their expertise and passions within the field. Career development options are therefore many and varied, including mentoring, lectures, courses, memberships and networking.

We have a robust mentoring system to support colleagues through the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) accreditation process to become Chartered Town Planners, including regular progress reviews, exposure to a range of projects and skills criteria and support with the APC submission itself.
