I am a business development and marketing specialist with a passion for assisting companies to achieve sustainable growth – exclusively within the built environment.

Since my early career as a Civil Engineer within both the public and private sectors, I have spent the last 30 years dedicated to providing a range of management consultancy services to clients with a particular focus on facilitating the creation and implementation of strategic business development and marketing plans.

Having been involved with P&DG since inception, a key aspect of my role continues to be that of ‘critical friend’ to the business to ensure that we remain aware, agile and responsive to whatever challenges we may face. My role requires me to be encouraging and supportive, whilst also providing honest and candid feedback to assist in achieving a measured response and positive outcome.

I am particularly passionate about the importance of exemplary Client Care in order to gain and retain our client’s trust by being flexible, pragmatic, transparent and always willing to go the extra mile. This unwavering commitment is a core value, which we are often told sets us apart, and is intrinsic within the business.

My related external duties include being the Chair of Derby Interact & National Committee member, Co-founder of People In Property (PIP Derby) and a Steering Group member of Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Partnership.
