I joined P&DG as a Planner in March 2021, following a long overdue return to my hometown of Nottingham. Before this, I worked across a range of sectors in the Built Environment in both London and Brighton.
I initially studied Architecture at university but after a couple of years working in the industry I was drawn more towards the stages involving securing planning consent. I went on to complete my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2016. Since then, I have worked in masterplanning at a global design and architecture firm, as well as more traditional planning roles in private consultancy. In May 2022, I was elected as a chartered member of the RTPI.
Since joining P&DG, I have worked alongside the team on a wide range of projects, from precise interpretation of Permitted Development Rights all the way through to EIA development. The huge span of project scales and sectors we work across at P&DG has to be one of our greatest assets and means there’s always something exciting to get involved in.
